The Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) is hosting its interational, refereed 16th RGS Doctoral Conference in Economics on March 29-30 at the Ruhr Universität Bochum (Veranstaltungszentrum). Around 100 early career economists present and discuss their current research.

Highlight of this year's headline topic Political Economy and Global Challenges are the keynotes "Climate protection in the shadow of multiple crises” by Dirk Messner (President of the German Environment Agency) and "Does Position Taking Crowd Out Policy Making? Congressional Capacity and the Quality of Laws" by Massimo Morelli (Bocconi University).
