Dr. Jogendra Kumar, Ruhr University Bochum
„I joined the Chair of Organic Chemistry of Prof. Lukas Gooßen as a Research Explorer Ruhr Fellow. RUB Research School provides a great platform for the international students to pursue research careers in different fields of interest. They provide a lot of networking and problem solving events which make really faithfull connections. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and a wonderful environment to carry my early postdoc research in Germany!“
Visiting Scholar in Economics at TU Dortmund University
„The Welcome Services provided me and my family with all the support we needed to settle down in Dortmund before starting my research. The Welcome Services have always been very responsive and punctual. My two children are enrolled at school and are very happy.“
Portrai of Brandt Gaches
Dr. Brandt Gaches, Emmy Noether Fellow at Universiy of Duisburg-Essen
„I came to the University of Duisburg-Essen in March with an Emmy Noether Junior Group funded by the DFG, following a postdoctoral fellowship in Gothenburg, Sweden. I chose to come to UDE with my group because it has exceptional expertise in physics with a broad interdisciplinary research portfolio. UDE has been an amazing host, providing my group and me significant support to complete our research and grow my group. I highly recommend UDE as a host for any early-career researcher looking to work in an excellent, interdisciplinary, and supportive environment. “
