The University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) is one of the most dynamic academic networks in Germany - a network that brings people, ideas and innovations together across disciplines and locations.

Since 2007, Ruhr University Bochum, TU Dortmund University and the University of Duisburg-Essen have been shaping the future of research, study and knowledge transfer together.

The UA Ruhr unites:

• over 100,000 students
• more than 100 joint projects
• four interdisciplinary Research Centers and a College for Social Sciences and Humanities
• the common goal of developing answers to global challenges
