During this year's Summer School of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom held at RUB, Zhanna Nemtsova presented her book titled "Her Father's Daughter".

Zhanna Nemtsova is a founding member of the Boris Nemtsov Foundation for Freedom and works as a freelance journalist and media producer, among other things. She is the daughter of the Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, who was murdered in Moscow in 2015.

The Summer School for Journalism and Socio-Cultural Studies is an annual training programme for young journalists and writers from all over the world. In 2023, the Summer School was held at the Ruhr University in Bochum from 16 to 29 July and organised by the UA Ruhr Liaison Office Eastern Europe-Central Asia (ADC).

The book launch took place on Saturday 22 July at 3pm in the Writing Café in the University Library.
