Executive Board

Well coordinated: The Executive Board steers the strategic direction and further development of the UA Ruhr. It is made up of the rectors and chancellors of the partner universities. Barbara Albert, Rector of the University of Duisburg-Essen, is the current spokesperson for the UA Ruhr. The heads of the universities regularly meet in the Executive Board to discuss framework conditions, areas of cooperation, and future projects.

The Executive Board is supported by the Management Office of the UA Ruhr. This office accompanies, coordinates and initiates new cooperation projects, acts as the first point of contact for interested parties and is responsible for the external presentation of the University Alliance Ruhr.
